Anyone been watching 'Hunted' this week
« on: 25 November 2012, 10:33:40 »

I've been following this series by the makers of Spooks and must admit it's been pretty good (bit far fetched maybe - but some great characters and suspense plots, a bit brutal in places too ) :y

If you have - anyone spot the huge continuity gap with the Range Rover they blew up this week  :o  :'(.
I can understand why the BBC would be reluctant to destroy 80 grands worth of Britains finest 4x4xfar  :'( - but come on fellas, you could have at least mocked up the same wheels and bling gill panels on the old banger you obviously substituted in it's place. You tried with the rear lights - but it was so obvious (to me anyway) it was a completely different car. The edit between the swap is probably less than a second between the 80k and the 8p cars before it goes up in smoke.

Just took the edge off it a bit for me...... :-\ :-\

I noticed that also. Shows what a saddo I am.

I must admit that I didn't understand the ending - the way in which she apparently seemed to survive the shooting to appear a month later in Scotland. And concerning the baby, was it hers? I suppose it could have been ....

I did enjoy watching the series though.

Confused me a bit too - bloomin' Spooks - nothing is what it seems  ??? I assumeed that she must've been wearing a vest so she could disappear again and the kid was the one she supposedly 'lost' ?? Enjoyed it though too.  :y

That's my interpretation... She was "Assassinated" by her own team to give her the freedom she needed and then her baby was delivered to her :-\ :-\

I must admit it annoyed me, probably too much.
The Range Rover was a 2002-2005 model, i.e prefacelift version, but it had the wrong rear lights fitted, those as found on the 06my facelift...and then when it morphed into a P38a  ::)
You can pick up a L322 for just over £4,000 and even less if you're careful, but then again neglected P38a's are now £200 but they could have tried a bit harder!

Yes noticed the Range Rover, probably a budget thing, but I don't know where the baby came from. (i do know where babies come from (Mothercare!) but not this one!  ::) ) The shooting was an arranged set up so she could die - and be free to live . . . if you see what I mean . . .
Anyway, good series.  :y
