Liebour under BLier and McRuin made it an election manifesto pledge when they were elected for a third term. The French rejected the new EU constitution in a referendum, so it was redrafted with the word constitution removed and called "The Lisbon Treaty". Mcliar knew there was no chance of a UK referendum approving this new treaty. So, then McLiar said no referendum was required as the Lisbon treat was a minor tidying up exercise with no loss of UK powers. Mcliar then slithered like a slug in through the back door to sign the treaty hoping nobody would notice and slithered out again, but he was caught in the act by the press. The treaty extends the EU powers vastly with the EU having a constitution and all of powers to set up the institutions of the FSE like the EU diplomatic core and embassies. It also sets up a vast extension of qualified majority voting into many new areas, the full effects of which will be felt from 2014 onwards.

Billy Liar Dithering Dave of the CONservatives then tried the referendum promise to keep UKIP at bay at the last election, enough people were fooled including me, that they were the biggest party after the election, but as soon as his ass was polishing a cabinet chair, he said as the treaty had been signed, there was no point in having a referendum, so there would not be one. At the same time he forgot he was meant to be a Conservative prime minister and turned it into Labour Lite. As an ex-junior PR spiv, Dithering Dave only principles on what do the what focus groups say he should do and what are today's sound bites. IMHO Dithering Dave's principals are on a par with a dog with diarrhea on a bowling green.

When it comes to the EU, Dithering Dave is totally committed, so he gets out the KY cream, drops his trousers and then buries his head in the trough with the rest of the EU officials, while taking a royal rogering from all and sundry from European Governments and EU officials who think the UK deserve it.

The LibLabCons are posturing over the threat of UKIP, so they will all promise a referendum on the FSE treaty, which will lead to the abolition of the UK democracy, but as soon as they have won the election it will not happen. I won't get fooled again, where I follow the saying:
"Fool me once, shame of you, fool me twice, shame on me."
So the only way we are going to keep the pressure on is to vote UKIP whenever and wherever possible. This will be very important in the 2014 MEP elections as it is a proportional representation system, so UKIP will have more MEPs. The more there are, the more spanners they can put in Barosso works in trying to stop him becoming the EU's first communist dictator.

The CONservatives will only do a deal with UKIP, if UKIP have some MPs after the next election and he needs them to form a government. UKIP will only do a deal if Dithering Dave falls on his sword as I get the impression Nigel Farage has an intense personal dislike of the PR spiv.
