I never gamble. Never play the lottery.

Tonight I was in the co-op buying a few groceries, and (as per clever marketing) decided I liked the look of a brightly coloured scratchcard which caught my attention.... I had a moment of madness, and bought it..  :-[

... and won £50  :D

Looks like the fine lady will be being taken out for dinner this weekend :y

My daughter will have to have her old dog put down this week and was weighing up the cost and advantages of the vet coming to house - next thing her husband wins £170 on police lottery. Solves the problem. Strange thing life!

That's a terminological inexactitude since, at the time of writing the post, you had gambled. Just think, you'll never be able to use that expression ever again. ;) ;D ;D
