I knew that bunker i built would come in handy  :( :-\

You can fill it with coal when the gas runs out & electricity goes off! :D ;D

That reminds me of the Cold War.

We lived in fear of the bombs being dropped, but it was even worse thinking of what would happen if we survived (for days / few weeks) after understanding what "the next day" would be like.

It was better to be killed straight off.

Thank God those days have past!! :y :y :y :y

I predict that the earth will end when the sun explodes.

Any way for me it ends on the 24th as that's when the monster in law comes for xmas

I like my M-i-L, her and I get on really well.... mind you as I was the only one of her boyfriends that the wife introduced to her mum over a period of several years, she did fear her daughter was gay before I came along  ;D ;D ;D

:( all my pension contributions for nothing :(

......  and I've just found out I'm due a further pension from the Civil Service .... perhaps they knew the world would end which is why they didn't pay it .... but why are they now going to send me the paperwork .... ??  ... hedging their bets ???

It'll probably only be 3d a week anyway !!

It seems that the end of the world is nigh yet again.Apparently on 21st of this month the sun will be in perfect alignment between the Earth and the rest of our galaxy at which point a giant solar flare will be emitted, this will affect the Earths magnetic core creating several polar regions and causing massive tidal waves.According to the "experts" on the programme[shown over the weekend]the safest place to be during this event is anywhere else but Earth!I personally didn't see this programme but several people at work did and have been discussing it all day.

Sounds like that bunch of money worshiping pagans not getting their own way again, ie having to do Christmas shopping for their 'loved ones'. Hopefully the high energy rays from the sun won't erase my omegas ECU memory. If it does I'll just have to get the trusty ECU programmer back out. Nevertheless I'll still get to take the old girl for a drive on Christmas day when the roads are empty ;-)
