Hi all, i am new around here and just thought i would say howdy. I have owned my 3.0 Omega for a few months, but she became redundant when I had to get a bigger car(Zafira) for the daily. Did try and sell her but I guess people don't want a 3.0 V6 with the current pump prices
I work for a company which supplies and installs trackers and cctv systems. On a slow day we were chatting about how the trackers and cameras would stand up to track abuse and if they could be marketed to track day people and racers. But we needed a test bed to see how well the system would work and so a plan was hatched
Take one 3.0 V6 Omega, strip and prep for track days, install trackers and cameras and see how well it all performs
So here is the weapon of choice:
So today I set about removing the interior. Started by taking out the Bose sound system and sat nav, stripped all the door cards and center console down and removed the headlining. After not a lot of work i had a nice boot full of bits.
I am going to see if I can retro fit the Bose system into the family Zafira and also the Phillips sat nav. Unfortunatley rain and the dark stopped play, but more to follow soon...
