What a brilliant programme and what an absolute gentleman Sir Stirling is.  He just oozes pure class. They dont make them like him any more. Possibly my favourite part was the reminiscing about the Mille Miglia with the legendary Dennis Jenkinson as his co driver. Somone should make a programme or two about Jenks,he was a fascinating little man.
Tomorrow night - Jackie Stewart.

Great programme. Mille Miglia was from an era when men were men. Like The RAC rally and Gulf London.

Not your modern 2 hour "sprint".

I wonder if Tomorrow night they will recount the time Stewart saw his mate in the Grandstand as he went by at great speed. Never knew whether that was true or folklore.
