problem solving on a forum.
« on: 31 December 2012, 22:37:25 »

Looking for confirmation to a electric power steering problem on a small vw fox.

Looking thru various threads i found this reply.

I have same problem :( Changed the battery & still have the problem :(

So It could be a lot of different things....
PAS sensor
PAS Pump
ECU
Alternator / over charging
Battery
Faulty yaw sensor on the steering rack
Bears
George Bush
Ginger people

Thats what i call quality diagnostics :y

More than likely to be a combination of the above;

Ginger Bears would be my bet.

First thing I'd check is the fuse for it, probably on top of the battery.  That's if it's not working at all.
