In the car i recently bought it seems someone put some of those double sided sticky pads in various positions on the dash , as its a black dash no amount of cleaning will get the white residue off  can anyone recommend some cleaner to get this off

White vinegar may work, but again test in hidden area for discolouration

As said, white spirit and a bit of elbow grease

Should be safe on the Pug, the black plastic isn't painted iirc best test first just to be sure though

All done , some white spirit and a soft brush . Will need something like a silicone dash spray for a final treatment
