Maybe it should be compulsory for everyone to be armed (children and pacifists excepted of course).
There'd be LOTS of deaths for a few years, but then it should settle down nicely - and all the survivors are likely to be the quiet, nervous, polite sort.

Not sure about that?, although I guess eventually it would have to settle down or there would be no one left.... :-\ :-\ :-\

I have been to the states over 20 times to various places and never seen or heard any gun fire or people shot, you are more likely to get run over in london than get shot in the US. ;) Unless you go looking to get shot  :) :)

Biggegg please dont take it personal ,the statistics dont count number of murders, robbery, rapes with the help of guns in this count..  and non-objective.. besides doctors even with a complete failure and causing death trying to do something for their patience .. so incomparable..

and yes guns kill people , because they are easy to use.. if they dont exist things wont be that easy..

no lying statistcis can make guns innocent or lovely..

Its just the thought that in any given place you could be surrounded by guns hidden on people ready to use when they want to , same can be said anywhere of course but knowing how many have a gun in the US puts me off  :(

Sounds reasonable, Mark. But, as usual, skewed to suit whatever you want it to suit. It makes no mention of the number of fatalities caused deliberately with guns as opposed to doctors who murder patients.

If I had a gun, there'd be an incredible number of car-to-car shootings in my area.  The victims would all turn out to have been misusing their foglights... 8)
