coolant leak

Found most of coolant on fllor this morning, second time it has done it, but spread over a year, very slight leak otherwise.  Any culprits spring to mind?  Checked all out no visible leak but seems to be from rear of engine, topped up and so far all is well.


2.0L GLS 2000

Are the matrix pipes both secure and attached? I know we disturbed these to flush it, but I have clear memories of the collars going back on correctly and the pipes not coming off with a gentle tug. Worth a check though. I'd have thought if one of those wasn't on properly, it would have dumped it's coolant spectacularly a long time before now.

The other thing that springs to mind - is your LPG coolant plumbing. I noticed this looked a bit slapdash, so worth ensuring no leaks there perhaps?

If you fill coolant up, and run engine, do you see any drips or trickles on the ground that could be traced upwards?

The best thing to do is pressurise the system and them have a look for the leak :y

pretty sure it is nothing that was done during the flush that caused this, did it once last year and then the other day.  very odd but going to check all out then try the pressure test, sure it is something silly.

Starting wouldn't be an issue - as it starts on petrol... :y

Vap seemed nice and hot when we checked it out the other weekend..and after a calibration/map it seemed to run quite well (certainly MUCH better) on gas...
