Yes, we've noticed at work that IE7 has a few lockups under certain circumstances, even the release version...

Hopefully, now its released any getting mainstream, MS will start fixing the issues that probably didn't turn up in limited beta testing...

Oh, agreed, I think it is a problem here, but IE7 cannot cope with it (yet).

At 23:30, the tape backups kick in for around 3hrs, this obviously hits the host server's disks heavily, causing a slowdown (though not a lockup) due to the forum waiting for the disk system to deal with request. Your browser should just respond a little slowly, not crash the system.

I have a plan though. All this week my shifts have finished between 23:00 and 03:00 which means I am online during the night. Next week I am on days so shouldn't be a probem.
