Eastleigh Election.
« on: 14 February 2013, 13:12:38 »

I finally get to vote for the party I have always wanted to vote for, The Monster Raving Loony party are putting a candidate up for election in Eastleigh.

Well happy  :y

List of candidates here  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-21458497

This will not be a wasted vote. It is a toss up between liberals and tories, no one else stands a chance here, the sheeple of Eastleigh are so stupid they will just vote liberal again and again and again.

It is not called beastley eastleigh for nothing  :(

UKIP  membership is rising rapidly while the 3 big players are losing members hand over fist.Ukip are vying in the opinion polls nationally with the Limpdems. Its very difficult to get an MP elected to westminster if your outside the cartel, but hopefully UKIP will soon move past the point where they can be called a protest party. :)

I would vote UKIP but they don't have a chance I am afraid. They interviewed a few old people in eastleigh and 3 out of 4 said they where votng liberal, one sad act even said she would vote for huhne again. This is the mentality in eastleigh I am afraid.

But if everyone keeps thinking they dont have a chance so theres no point in voting for them, then the others are never going to face a serious challenge. ;)

Where's Eastleigh?

It a grubby little railway town next to Southampton and a few mile from Winchester. It is of course of no importance to the country in general  ;D

Yes, but I considered myself either part of Southampton, or if I really wanted to sound posh, I would say part of Winchester! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

Interestingly enough when we first lived in Fair Oak, the postal address was always "nr. Southampton (never Eastleigh)! :D :D :D
