Thank God. Me and the missus are knackered getting up at quarter to six every morning.

It's a long day for wifey, she didn't get in till quarter to seven. Usually in school for seven o'clock of a morning. I couldn't do those hours and be nice to people/kids.

It's a long day for wifey, she didn't get in till quarter to seven. Usually in school for seven o'clock of a morning. I couldn't do those hours and be nice to people/kids.

Perhaps we could swap jobs. How would she like to do more hours and be nice to paying customers who vote with their feet ? and only get 20 days holiday a year and half her pay cheque  ::)

Glad to hear it.I wont have to follow school buses and avoid mental yummy mummies on the way home from work next week.

sorry mate forgot the misses was a teacher she needs the res then they do work hard and deserve the time off this is fron sombody who has been a school govoner for 18 years

I don't know what job you do but you couldn't possibly do more hours than my wife.

I don't know what job you do but you couldn't possibly do more hours than my wife.

I did 90 hours of nightshifts the week before last.I wont claim theres much work involved in my job though.Was still quite knackered afterwards though.
I would imagine the job of a dedicated headmistress (which a have the impression your wife is) is very difficult,stressful and tiring Steve. :y




And then the poor woman has to come home and live with you. My heart goes out to her. :( :P

When I did your job, in central London, I once did 168 hours. They knew I was staying awake on one site and sleeping on the other but, when you're short staffed....... ;D

Yep,I was doing bereavement cover at very short notice followed by my own normal shifts,so........... :-X ::)
Had two days off and then back for four shifts of holiday cover,so a total of 150 hours in 12 days.Mostly at time and a half,so Im not complaining. ;)
