power sounder!!

hi,

Power sounder has gone off right now! how to switch it off. alarm is paused for 10 secs and then starts again.

How to switch off?

Unplug it and remove it from car - chuck it in a bucket of water and it will eventually expire ;)

Or do what most do , disconnect it take it out and hit it with a hammer . Quite satisfying getting your own back on it  >:( ;D

with the sounder disconnected so only the hazard lights will flash. If you connect a horn as mentioned then sound restored.

My dead power sounder sat at the front of my garage fro a few weeks before I got around to binning it! I wouldn't lose sleep over it.  ;)
