Got a few of the usual advisorys

Metal brake pipes contain corrosion
Slight play in steering rack
1 tyre down to 2mil
Unable to inspect the underside and outer sills due to plastic covers?????? Thats a new one on me?

Overall chuffed though, shame I'm getting rid, cost of fuel + my weekly commute to work, can't really justify £300 odd just for going to work & back a month  :'(

Have heard that on a lot of cars , but why they cant remove to inspect  ??? Could be rotten underneath but you wouldnt know  :-\

Well done anyway  :y

Tester isn't supposed to remove anything while testing :y

As Henryd said there not allowed to remove anything to inspect and if the tester is a bit anal he/she will has the right to make notes on the certificate. I once saw a car with the whole underneath with alloy plate pop riveted on. My mate the tester knew the car was rotten under the plate but because he couldn't remove it and everything else was OK he had to pass the car

Why? What's everyones obsession with newer diesels :-\ Yes you might save £120 a month on fuel, but that will just about cover the finance on a 4-6 year old diesel grotbox which will still need servicing/tyres/Mot/tax/insurance and when the fuel system or dpf fail, which they will soon enough, then you'll be kicking yourself for getting rid of the Omega :-\
