Brilliant!!   ;D

Saw one of those bollard things being tested on TV once - stopped a truck doing about 40 or 50 dead.  And once the truck had completely disintegrated the bollard rolled merrily back down.  No damage to the bollard at all.  They get a big thumbs up from me  :y - much better than a camera and a fine - imagine the damage on the underside of those cars  ;D

Bet they won't try that again ;D

We've actually got some of those in our town centre that's only supposed to alow buses and emergency vehicle through, and the only thing to ever hit them was.........................
yep, a bus!!  ;D Apparently the bollards malfunctioned and when the bus driver put his card in to lower the bollards they came up again while the bus was only half way over ::)

That's usually an automatic salvage title unless almost new, breaking any mounting ears off the block casting.  Must have done, lifting the back like that.

I guess people that dumb aren't going to watch the bollards at least once to see how fast they come up?
