Another snow event Weekend/Monday?

I've been right about the last two.  ;)

Maybe I'll be wrong this time.. ;)

This easterly that's blowing now is set to continue and computer models pick up a trough approaching the SE corner on Sunday – which could presumably spread further North/West. I'm not saying it WILL snow, it could just be cold rain...or nothing at all. ;D

Hmmm. Some outputs are suggesting snow cover for much of the UK on 5th March.

We're forecast it from today until Sunday/Monday. I'm hoping it won't amount to much or will be gone by Monday night as SWMBO is off on a short break with her sister late Monday/early Tuesday and isn't particularly confident driving in snow ::) Plus I'm hoping to go up north and see mum whilst she's away and I can't afford to get snowed in at either end!
