Should do. Once you have it up and running, swap the throttle body for a 3.0 one and the ecu for a 3.0 one and it should fuel it accordingly :y

But for now, the 2.5 one should be fine :y

No can do Al  ;)

The 3ltr and the 2.5ltr throttle positioning sensor are wired up different.

If the engine loom is off a 2.5 then you must use a 2.5 throttle body  :)
3ltr ecu will work just fine with a 2.5's loom  :)

Jamesm, easyist way to explain is .................. take all top bits off the 2.5 then bolt it to the 3.2's block  :)
Stick a 3ltr ecu in the ecu box and connect it to the loom.
You could also try a 3ltr chip upgrade which should give you a bit more grunt  :)

Learn summat new... :y

Presumably the 2.5 throttle body can be tweaked to allow a bit more air in as required :-\

Tbh, I don't think they is much difference  :-\
At the end of the day, the air intake side is the same diameter as the standard bagpipes and the plenum side looks the same  :-\
Evan with the ecu's, iirc the 3ltr only fuels a little bit more right up at the top of the rev range
