Forget the marketing hype. 4 electrode plugs are a waste of time. They'll come loose long before their service interval, so not worth paying the extra, and suffering the downsides (cost, shielded spark).

I exclusively use GM twins, though both cars are LPG, so need strong spark. Tend to change them at 20k, rather than the stated 40k.

I get them from a dealer, as I'm getting sick of fake crap on egay now.
i put them in TB about 4k ago...do they really work loose....is it best to use vx ones.  :y

Haven't had any Champion pugs for years
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_209223_langId_-1_categoryId_165736#tab1

Not suprised at those prices.

Why ask for advice when you just ignore it?  I agree with TB - GM twins more than adequate and cheap on TC - get yourself a TC mate, you'll save a fortune ;)

No doubt that advice will be ignored too ::) ::)
I am thinking about it.

If you don't have TC order some at TC prices from AndyC in the recommended suppliers section. Absolutely pointless buying anything other than GM standard plugs for any Omega engine, even if on LPG. :y

Yep, and to an OEM spec., not just generic "equivalent" parts.

If your engine is killing them, then something else is wrong (e.g. lean running).

Mine are in for 40k, on LPG, and come out looking fine.

I always buy GM plugs. Cheap as chips and work. A lot cheaper than Halfords and Bosch own brands

Contact Andyc, only use GM plugs, other makes promise the world, but deliver very little.
Marketing hype as jamie pointed out.
