This is probably old hat to Sky viewers, but as I am new to Sky I saw a programme called Traffic Cops today. Probably a few years old !!!!!!!
It was all around Luton/Bedford. The incident that made me sit up and look, was the case of a silver Omega losing it and crashing. They had to get the doors off, then cut the roof off to get people out. It transpired that the driver, (18, I believe) had no tax, no insurance, no MOT, no licence and had never had a driving lesson. The car had a space saver on a rear wheel. One of his passengers said they were going around 60 when the driver lost it.
When the police contacted the mother, she was not fazed at all that the lad was driving. Reason being, he had left the house one day, came back two hours later, beaming all over his face, and told the family he had passed his test. Nobody twigged !!!!!!!!!! He was driving friends and family around all over the place, and no-one knew the truth.
As I said, its probably a few years old, but the audacity of the lad left me gobsmacked.
