Has anybody tried/owned a V6 Signum Elite. ?

Friend of mine is considering getting an 06 plate and would appreciate any advise or areas to be to aware of

He was looking at a 3.2 automatic petrol engine with full Irmscher kit .

Pictures looked nice but unsure how it would shape up to his Omega

Didn't the auto gearbox fill with water due to a duff gearbox oil cooler on them ::)

Chuffed with my V6 3.0 diesel Elite auto,goes very well and averages 34mpg driving around down here in cornwallshire,gets up to about 38 on a good run and thats not driving with economy in mind,not quite as good a ride as the Omega was but has most of the toys :y :y

Don't know about that,I know Mercedes had that issue ???

Earlier Vectra C's/Signums did have a problem with their gearboxes, EP is right, they were sorted on later models as Tunnie said :y.

I'm pretty sure there was recall for the problem too, could be wrong though.

I ought to check if mine was one of them as its an 04 ::)

Mines a 5 speed but probably the same cooler :-X

My old man had a 2.0 Turbo one with Irmscher kit, they do look well :y

Last shape astras had the same issue,
this time caused by a rad letting go and coolant going into the auto box. ::)

Elite leather, cruise control, 3.0ltr cams, gas flowed 3.0ltr inlet manifold, 4 bar fuel pressure regulator, rear side window demisters, rear electric windows. projectors /HID'S, h/l washers.
