Running out of wind
« on: 06 March 2013, 22:14:28 »

As it is curry night is Reading, I thought it would be a topical subject. I'm sure there are plenty on here who will personally vouch that it will never happen.

Except according to a recent report this is happening!

http://iopscience.iop.org/1748-9326/8/1/015021/

They claim that large wind turbine fields slow down local wind conditions and that previous estimates on the amount of wind available maybe much, much too high. So it looks if these windmills keep springing up everywhere we may start to run out of wind!  :o :o :o :o :o So another thing against these mass bird slaughterers.  >:( >:( >:(
