Kodak printer help.
« on: 10 March 2013, 23:12:12 »

I've had my kodak ESP-3 for pretty much 2 years maybe more and its been (mostly) trouble free apart from the odd software issues, But its finally given up the printer head has packed up it just wont recognize new (genuine) printer ink cartridges...

Have been quoted £44 for a new head but considering its age maybe its time for a new printer altogether...?

But what to get ?

(budget £60)

Must have cheap ink and be fairly reliable and a scanner built in is also a must, But not fussed if it has WI-FI or built in fax etc..

Was just going to get this but the reviews on it are well awful mostly 1 star out of 5 on Amazon  :-\

Only reason i got the Kodak originally was the Colour & Black in was £12 and lasted ages (just printing text) but has raised to around £15-£20 for Colour & Black but that's still cheap compared to other brands unless they have come down in price or last longer now days ?

Would this be the only ink pack this would need Rob ?

I use this company. Quality inks and larger capacity.

As good as originals ? and how much pages do they print around the same or more than originals ?

Looks like i'll be getting the Epson at these prices, Is £49 the best price new ?

EDIT: Seen one on Amazon 5p cheaper and they are easy to return products to if its faulty or something.

At that budget, you are looking at either stuff that won't last, or stuff where the ink is so expensive, you'll be forced to use pattern ink, and thus it won't last.

So buy whatever floats your boat. It won't last. Sorry.

my last one lasted just over 2 years which isn't bad for a cheap Kodak printer. And what sort of printer would you suggest TB out of curiosity.  ::)
