Had an estate 2.5 one many moons ago. Apart from the AC going constantly wrong it was all right. I don't think it was as nice as my current Omega mind.

If you're looking at a 2.5 Vectra, why not get another Omega instead?  ???  The fuel consumption wouldn't be that different, would it?  :-\

2.5 would be nice and probably better mpg than the omega 2.5 ? The ones ive been looking at are the 1.6 1.8 2.0 , think they do a 2.2 as well . Still looking for one thats near to look at and hasnt got too much tin worm . As for mpg i think the 2.0 is more efficient than the 1.8 ?

Yep that's the problem and i've almost lost hope for myself on finding a 3.2 Elite the way i want it, Anyways what i now believe is pretty much every car is for sale for a reason and that you have to find the problem or problems even and work out if its worth fixing depending what's wrong with it. But i'm sure there are genuine cars out the most with big price tags mind.

Yep you have to know what to look for before you start out , generally if a car looks tatty then its more than likely to have been used and abused with no servicing . I usually stick to cars ive owned before so that gives you an idea what to look for , even then its a gamble on any used car but more so if you have limited budget .. The search continues  ;)
