Details about SAI removal, please.

Pretty straight forward, remove bagpipes, remove SAI pipework leaving just the rubber hoses that connect the exhaust manifold sections and block those with a 15mm copper pipe end-stop inserted backwards and using the spring clip to secure it. The only other thing you have to block off is the vacuum hose to the solenoid valve then you can remove the pump from behind the front bumper too. Don't forget to remove fuse 29b from the engine bay fuse box - itt's the big red 50 amp one.
The 3.2 manifolds don't have SAI ports so you can save yourself a few plumbing fittings :y

If you you want it to run cooler and not to fussed about the air con, you can remove the air con fans and the rest of the air con set up

You will need a non air con aux belt if you go down this route, so the cav v6 is the one to go for for   :y

Ok, today I made a very small start but....
When I took off the "Bagpipes" and found that some of the mounts were broken...
Also, on the back is a small square-ish box with a couple of vac pipes going into it...
Both pipe have been rubbing on the Aux belt one is worn but not holed the other is completely cut so I will replace them both..

Just out of interest, the cut pipe goes round the left side of the engine to a valve or something on the left back of the plenum, Any ideas what it all does???

Operates the rear multiram valve. Will cost you grunt. ;)

Right then...
Tonight, I thought I would tear down the front end... and this is what I found...
What a mess!!!

And the water pump...

Is it usual for the o-ring on the water pump to be split?
That wasn't the cause of the leak, it must've been leaking for ages, I did use some water...

Also, on the intake and vac system, I have ALOT of oil sitting about...
Is this a bad sign???

Any comments welcome as usual...
