The six o'clock news will be on soon, and every Tom, Dick or Harry will tell us what's in it.

Up to £1200 for those with children, to assist with the cost of childcare  for those who earn under £150,000 apparently.I wish someone would explain to me why I should subsidise paying for kids to be childminded because their parents have either both chosen to work,or chosen not to live with each other. ::)
Its yet more marxist redistribution of wealth.

Can't fully agree there Albs.....'Chosen to work' has a few definitions.....my daughter and her partner work, and my grandson has to go to after school child care. They have to work, or lose their house. Robin works 12 hours a day, plus 2 hours travelling to and from. My daughter Debbie works from 8.30am till 6 pm. We go over every monday to save the grandson going to childcare on that day. Its a round trip of nearly 100 miles....not cheap in a Omega. It would be cheaper for me and wife to pay our daughter to put him in childcare on a monday, but we get to see all the grandchildren, as my son lives in Brackley too.
Once again, people struggling to make a life for themselves and child, getting no help at all !!!!!!!!!!
