Heater misting
« on: 19 March 2013, 19:52:42 »

This happened during the recent heavy rain - when I turned up the temperature dial, it mists up the windscreen, turn back to low and the fan demists it ok. I've cleaned the scuttle outlet pipe, I'm not losing coolant and there's no wetness or leaking apparent on the floor, so I'm hoping it's not the heater matrix. I remember this happening a while back with a different omega, also in heavy rain. It gives good heat. The a/c compressor is defunct so I always have the climate control on Eco.

Thats your problem mate ;) Needs a/c working to minimise misting up.

Cheers mate, I forgot that the a/c is for dehumidifying as well as cooling.
