What I don't understand is why wasn't it built as a multi-use stadium in the first place. ie with a bigger roof and seating that extends over the running track for football......  :-\

Oh yes that would have been common sense?  ::)

West Ham can't fil the Boelyn, how on earth are they going to fill that stadium?

At it's best when full, that place, I spent a lot of time there last year.......
