Got a new complete set from my VX dealer some 1 and a half years ago around £60 if I remember correctly. Trouble is then the mats are in better condition than the cars main carpet/mat so it should be protecting the expensive new mats  ;D

If you can't get genuine Vx, there's plenty of pattern mats on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=omega+floor+mats&rt=nc  ;)

Wonder if a big patch can be sewn onto current mat? Rest are find just drivers one has a hole, most do have big patch under the pedals.

Mrs TB tells me it would be difficult to machine a patch on with the equipment most people have. I'm wondering if glue would work...

Take a trip to a local outlet that uses industrial strength sowing machines, ie a leather shop . For a small donation they'll sow anything i reckon  :y

Good point - Mrs TB's folks make rocking horses, and stitch the saddles themselves...

Has to be worth a go. If not fabric, maybe grey or black metal plate could be stuck on?
