Replacing Diesel pump 2.2 DTI
« on: 04 April 2013, 08:43:48 »

Hi,
I've got a 2.2 DTI engine and I had a problem with injection pump.
I bought reconditioned of someone with good feedback on ebay and manage to replace.
Now tried start the engine but nothing is happening. Also I checked the in and out pipes but nothing is happening there is no vacuum or pressure on them.
Does it mean that there is air block inside pump?? or maybe I need to change this electronic module which seats on top of the pump?
Please help

My problem has been solved!!!
I spend almost whole evening and now engine is running. The problem was air in the system.
I've checked the faults and the only code I found is P1590 which I cannot delete. Does anyone knows what could be the problem??
