Hi all....
Until Thursday I was able to plug my phone (Nokia C2) into the front usb on the computer. It registered in 'My Computer, also box appeared stating 'open folder to view images'.
Now, every time I plug the phone in I get a message 'One of the usb devices being used is not being recognized.' I have plugged my Wireless headset into that usb port to charge , and all works ok. Did try the phone in another port, same result
I have reloaded Nokia software but to no avail. I am thinking about a System Restore, but can you tell me whether that restores the 'C' drive only, or does it restore all drives ( I have 5 installed)
System is Windows 7 64bit, 500gb 'C' drive, 8gb ram, 1 gb Nvidia graphics card (9800GT).
I did upgrade the graphic card drivers recently, would that cause it. (the board drivers are old nForce4 ) Would restoring change back the drivers ?
I checked the net, basically only found 'reboot' which does not work......or do you think it is the phone. It works perfect for calls, text, etc. Can they lose connectivity?
Any ideas appreciated, whether they work or not ( except saying 'get another phone !!!! )
