headlight dim.
« on: 19 April 2013, 20:39:59 »

Hi all.  I have a problem with one of my headlights on my X reg elite estate. Recently i noticed that the o/s headlight was not as bright as the n/s. I checked them out and when i switch my lights on both come on with equal brightness then after approx 2 mins the o/s light begins to dim. It does not go completely out but the difference is quite noticable between the two. Could it be bulb or ballast unit or something else? Got the dreaded MOT coming up in a few weeks and want to get it sorted before then in case it fails because of it. Cheers.

Most probably the bulb. To confirm switch bulbs over
