Yes, he got off lightly.

The people of today look up to footballers. What message does it send out that if things aren't going well it is OK to snack on a player?

Lifetime ban and a million pound fine would be about right. However, I am the same person that would have hardened criminals rebuilding Hadrians Wall or making small rocks out of large ones to build a barrage across the Wash to create a huge freshwater lake to solve the South East water crisis. So my views are to be discounted.  :'(

I really don't understand footballs stubbornness to use technology, its taken them ages to take on goal line tech.

A ref could have a mobile device on his arm, with an instant 30 second replay from all camera angles. So if there is a shirt pulling, dodgey tackle, dive, handball, attack ect, there is clear evidence.

So if someone dives, send them off! Won't take long before no one will be doing it...

To right he should be band if not longer, he has a record of doing this sort of thing and anyway if you bit someone in public surly that constitutes to assault doesn't it?

Not long enough having done this before when playing in Holland. Take him to a vet and have them nashers filed down  ;D ;D ;D
