Road Springs?
« on: 29 April 2013, 23:00:44 »

Hi there, I've got one busted front spring (boings on turning!) so need to replace both fronts and because I carry a lot of weight thought I'd do the rears as well. I guess it would be recommended to use genuine springs? Are they a Trade Club item? Any idea how much? Thanks.

Humpy

PS Its for my 3.0L manual Elite estate (yes its got self levelling!)

Replaced my rear springs about 18 months ago and used KYB,s as they seemed the most reasonable around £70 the pair but not too sure what the fronts would cost.Service was prompt although website is confusing as you need to ensure you get the S/L type which are dearer than std.

Wouldnt go the VX route as expect mortgage money for them  ;D

Yes I realize that now, got a quote for all four springs and it was going to be more than I paid for the car seven years  ago :o Pattern parts it is then!

Go KYB

I've found KYB springs rust badly, from experience I would say Boge  :y
