It's ok. Flying is safe . . . .

This was NOT an attack by anyone, it just happened. Have a good flight    ;D

Yep, classic "low and slow" accident, as far as I can see. :(

Yes, that would do it. I guess the CofG shifted aft to the point where the elevator lost authority.  :(

RIP to the poor guys ... a couple of minutes of absolute terror no doubt.. :(

Many theory's abound in the aviation forums .. but a cargo shift/stall seems to be the favourite ..

When Mr Bernoulli leaves the room Mr Newton takes over with a vengeance .. :(

Some of those cargo carriers leave alot to be desdired. Seen a fair few close calls at Gatwick due to poor loading/overloading :-\

Just because the freight physically fits the space doesn't mean it should be loaded...

yes when Op MINIMISE is on there is no phone or internet access for anyone, only military phones back to UK military phones.  That is until the Next of Kin have all been informed.  When there is multiple casualties it can take a while, that and some families are separated which takes times to get everyone.  It's a sad reality but the MOD gets kicked in the nuts when people find out via friends/email/facebook/etc.

No worries.  It normally lasts about 8 hours, sometimes it only lasts an hour, but last year it was once on for 2 days.  Problem is we in the UK dont know anything (and cannot)
