Brother + Cars = Useless

Well took by brothers car for an MOT today, its a 2001 1.8 Mondeo. Now considering I usually look after it & got it through its MOT last year I've tried to educate him in a bit of DIY. I showed him last time how to check certain areas (bit like a pre-MOT) AND how to do a service - Oil, filters, plugs etc. (He hates getting his hands dirty  ::) ::) ::) )

Well, I took it in and it failed  :( only on a snapped rear offside drop-link & emissions  >:( >:( >:(

He ain't opened the bonnet since I serviced it last year >:( >:( >:( Grrrrr!

Anyway 1 service & drop-link later & its roadworthy again.

Ive done plenty of searching for cars over the last 2 wks and so many cars that have not been serviced and abused by the owners  :( then they moan about the cost of fixing them  :( It dont take much to do a few checks and keep on top of it ....
