Intermittent misfire
« on: 04 May 2013, 16:34:13 »

2.2 DBW.
All plugs are known good. Sponge under scuttle is bone dry. Plugwells are void of oil and/or water. Coilpack inspected and shows absolutely no signs of damage.
When starting from either cold or hot sometimes it`ll run perfect other times #4 misfire. If misfire occurs I immediately switch off, re-start and misfire gone ???
Spanner light doesn`t stay on indicating a DTC but instead the emissions light (engine) stays on.
Thinking possibly random fault with coilpack :-\ :-\
