removing breather bridge on extended plenums
« on: 05 May 2013, 19:50:06 »

Removed the shorter piece that is held on by to screws. On the larger bit, I tried to prise it off as per the guide but it come off and also sounded as if it snapped somewhere   ???

So how do I get it off?

I'm presuming you've removed the 'ecotec' cover and then the torx screw?

No, I haven't. I can't remove the ecotec cover.

Sorry for the confusion, it was a rushed post

Sorry pal, didn't mean to offend  :-[

The cover clips onto the breather chamber, about three on either side, but it is very narrow, so make sure you're not trying to prise up the whole breather. The cover should come off fairly easily.
If you already have the short piece off you may be able to see the cover and the breather from the front, which would give you an idea of how they fit.
Hope that makes sense? Someone may have a few pics to illustrate ........
