No offence but why would you want a 3.5 V8? I mean you're not know for having a lead foot so it would be pointless to buy a car like this and drive it like miss daisy. Mind you, you'll probably he able to get 35mpg out of it

All about "waft-ability" in these I think, one I drove was 4.2 V8, silence and plenty of go.

I think you miss my point Tunnie, it's not about the age of the car but the age of the driver.  My Uncle has a Jag XJ something or other and he's a 72 year old retired company director and probably the typical Jag driver.... 

So when I say it's an old man's car it's a bit like saying it's a hairdresser's car!

Least with this age, DIY work is still a real possibility, unlike Modern cars
