To good to be true?
« on: 16 May 2013, 20:23:44 »

I have been offered a W reg 2.5 CDX saloon. Apparently it has had one owner from new and full service history and recently had new exhaust system, dis pack and other items totalling over £1000 and has only 29K on the clock. Iv'e been told it is immaculate. I have been offered this for £800. Is this a bargain in your opinion or about right for a W reg Omega despite the low mileage?

I would say yes

IF you like the colour
IF it has had the cambelt etc changed at least once during that time (3 or 4 times? on age) (with the latest change not being that long ago)
IF tyres are in good nick. I dare say they are the originals! If they are not then that would set alarm bells ringing for me.
IF it drives well (doesn't pull to the left)
IF it stands up to the OOF list of things to look out for.

Would have thought all taken in to consideration must be well worth a look and £750  would be great. :y
