The Gay marriage thing crosses them all I am afraid. So I will post!

I am fairly laid back about stuff. Civil law covers gay marriage, partnerships and so on.

I wonder seriously if the government have actually done their homework on side issues.?

Drama Queen, Royal Queen, Gay Queen or Queen and Queen the mind boggles but it really is a big chnage. Biggest thing since Henry V111 changed everything.

No wonder the French are protesting!

I have to say I am a bit confused on this. Why do gay people want to get marred ? Surely religions are the biggest haters of gays so why do something that comes from religion ? Yes I do realize you can have non religious marriages these days but the basic idea comes from religions or so I thought.

Can't say I really care if they do it or not. They can get on with their lives and leave me to get on with my life.

Don't have a problem with Gay, however I don't agree with the marriage side of things. It's a touchy subject, but that's just my opinion.

Marriage is a union between man and woman and that is the way it should stay.
Its not something that a politician should interfere with.
Even if they feel it will win them some votes 
If your gay then your gay.
I'm a pretty tolerant and open minded bloke like that.
At the end of the day, what peoples sexual preferences is is nothing to do with me.
If they want to show there feelings by entering a civil partnership then good on them and good luck too them BUT no government has any right to interfere with this.

A week or two back when the admins ran a poll about "No politics".

Since then, OOF has become like Facebook on Mogadon.

Rather hope I get banned. At least that's would be more interesting than the posts in General Discussion these days.

I think , we , straight (ordinary sexes) cant understand them  because neither our brains  nor hormones work like theirs..
 
however, imo, its an understandable feeling for me that they try to make their relation official.. and even if you forbid this type of marriage these type of relations wont end.. so is it that much important either its on paper or not..

It isn't a post on the rights and wrongs of gay or gay marriage.

The question I am really asking is has anyone actually thought out the implications. I find the concept of a dad marrying his son to avoid inheritance tax amusing but who knows what genuine pitfalls there will be down the line. It can be complicated enough now.

I just don't think it has been thought through.

I know there was a poll but when was it actually decided that certain subjects are are taboo.

bunch of boys in tight shorts running around chasing eachother in the mud, kicking a ball in between two bits of wood then runing after eachother to have a cuddle.

then jumping in a big bubble bath together, and some one always drops the soap
