One of my pet hates. It happens to me almost daily on my work commute. .....

Ditto!  >:( >:( >:(

This irritates me as well, although I spotted a gap at 11.23.23 where I would have shot across the chevrons straight in to lane two and outrun everyone else.  :-[ :-[ ::) ;)

Actually, I've changed my mind.  ::) ;D In the interest of safety, I would have gone past these two vehicles at 11.23.15 and entered ahead of the yellow lorry. Much safer option that.  :y ;)

Do you think a Road-Hawk would be suitable for me.   :-\

It was tongue-in-cheek but fair point Andy.  :y I would never encourage those types of manoeuvres.  :y

Me neither. If you can't get in front of the red lorry you're either not trying or your car is gutless. ;)

Utterly ridiculous. A danger to them selves and everyone else around. Assuming those lorries are doing 56 that car was barely doing 30.
Having said that, I believe there's no minimum speed limit in the uk...?
There is an effective minimum limit of 40 mph, as that is the speed your vehicle must be capable of to be on a Motorway, hence the minimum CC requirement for bikes :y

Saw a good one on the way to work today.I came off the A12,up the slip road to be confronted by the wreckage of a VW Lupo, which had come down the slip road the wrong way and hit a Transit van head on.Lupo was wrecked, but it appeared no-one was hurt. ::)

Having taken a Lupo on an autobahn, attempted suicide by head-on collision is indeed the preferred option. Better than continuing down the correct sliproad and trying to join any fast moving traffic. ::)

I do think someone needs a read of the highway code as there is no minimum speed on the uk motorway network...unless dictated by a blue circle and white lettering...although the onus is on the vehicle driver to keep up with the flow of traffic..the last labour goverment wanted to bring in a minimum speed but didnt get around to it...too busy spending money they didnt have

I think someone might actually learn to read all the words rather than skim reading looking for a headline ::)

The minimum limit is inferred by the ability of any vehicle using the motorway network to be capable of exceeding 40 MPH. Which is what was previously written ::)
