Hot summy weekend
« on: 31 May 2013, 19:01:53 »

They have forecast this weekend being hot and sunny.  :y :y :y Good, it will give me chance to catch up in the garden, which is looking rather neglected.  ::)

What will you be doing?

Same as you. Pruning grapes back, weeding, putting shade up for some plants against the sun.

BBQ chicken on Sunday evening.

Cut the grass, fill the wheely bin up again and drag it round the front of the house. (No wheels, sigh...)

Gardening for me too...... ::) Front and back looking shabby as have not had the chance to do very much this year yet, it makes it worse the fact that the neighbours, on both sides, are all retired, and keen gardeners........ ;) ;)

Working a late shift later (Sat); finishing around midnight.

Then off work 'til Wednesday, so'll probably be preparing for our annual foray to the Welland Steam Rally, aided by our two youngest grandsons no doubt, who are presently counting-down the days to the big event:

Gramps has got 17 miles-worth of these to put up!

... and this lunatic man's best friend:

Fancy yer chances at nickin' Seth's quad-bike? ... make my day!

Gotta take the caravan to have the mover sorted:

... on Tuesday morning.

So quite a busy (but hopefully enjoyable) few days off work ... long may the sun shine folks! :y
