Alas, no wheels
« on: 17 May 2008, 17:04:46 »

Remember my previous post regarding the new wheels i had just ordered & paid for the other week.
I rang up yesterday to see how my order was doing & they'd been dispatched on thursday only to be returned to supplier on friday morning with fork lift damage  :(
They where the last set of 18" they had in that style too  :( :(
They sent me an e-mail with some other 18" wheels on for me to choose from, but nothing i like. I rang them & they said "we'll send you another e-mail of some more wheels in the morning", i gave them till 13.00 today, alas no e-mail. Rang them again & the guy said "they where sort staffed & he would get an e-mail sent within the hour", guess what, yup nothing. This time they rang me & asked if i liked any of the wheels on the e-mail? "I haven't received an e-mail yet" i repied.
So now i'm waiting for another e-mail with some more pics that they said they where going to send, that was two hours ago.
Do you think i've been patient enough & i should ask for a refund or wait a little longer? The only insentive i have is they where going to let me have a more expensive set for no extra cost  :-/ :-/ :-/
After this post i'm off to check my e-mails, but i'm not holding my breath

Well a result. I just recieved a call from the guy & they've got a shipment coming in on the 29th of this month of my original choice & for my inconvenience they're knocking off £90.00
I guess it must be the power of the OOF, because as soon as i'd posted my first post he rang  ;)  :y :y

Were these from a company called wheelbase by any chance as i had a very simular experiance.   If so do you know the name/model of the wheels.

Hi Lee. Not Wheebase. The wheels are Wolfrace Sharks.
