Looks nice, so much slimmer back then, bikes now are huge.

FatherT used to have a RD400  :)

Here's my 1990 FJ1200 Yamaha......227KG and only 125 BHP......but still pretty rapid.

Crazed little stroker from the seventies and eighties. Very little front tyre wear. ;D ;D ;)

I well remember riding a z650 when they had just come out.I held it flat in top for a very long time and could not coax it past an indicated 115mph,which was probably a genuine 105 at best.
They have built up quite a cult following over the years though,and good ones now sell for silly money.
I still hanker after 500 or 750 two stroke Kwacker from the 70,s (must be a sadomasochist) but they command ridiculous prices these days.

Got rid of my FJ12 when the carbs started playing up , still went like a stabbed rat though  :o

I have the dubious honour of being one of those who crashed a 500 mach3 and survived with cuts & bruises. It was a KH250 attacking the back of a Hillman Hunter and a set of traffic lights simultaneously that almost killed me. ;D ;D
