Don't have TC? Any self respecting dealer should sell it at the TC price or just over :y

I have never had a trade card and have never paid full price for anything other than specifically ordered obscurities.

Yep I was offered oil at TC prices recently, despite not having a card.  :)  Apparently I'm a Land Rover specialist!  :-\  ;D
How apt, you being a tree surgeon and all... ::)

I must double check what Now Heathrow were going to do, they said they would do a deal when 4 for 3 ended.
Oil is always on offer, just ask for whatever the current promotion is... :y

Sometimes it's 4 for 3, sometimes it's 20% off, sometimes it's 25% off a 20 litre drum, sometimes it's on Chevrolet oil rather than Vauxhall... :y

Either way all good stuff & as you say better than Castrol!  :y

I wish I had seen this two weeks ago before I went to Evans Halshaw to ask for 20 litres of ATF.

The nearest the parts manager could find on their system was 20 one litre bottles of Dexron6 at about £7 a litre.

Last week I went to a local heating oil supplier (Keltic - a Cornish subsidary of Watson fuels) and bought a 20 litre drum of Chevron/Texaco Texamatic 7045e for £72.

Yes we could do with a decent supplier of dex3 and 2. Given its an "outdated" or "superceded" product its oppsing expensive, and getting difficult to find.

Andys story from a vx dealer is quite normal unfortunately. :(

Good news on engine oil though. :y and confirms very nicely what we already knew about TC oil deals. I'd post it on an Opie advert thread but they won't read it ;D

I've just checked with my contact at Skurray's Swindon, Dex111 semi-skimmed is still avlbl 20L for £42.95. The Oxford branch have it in stock if required. :y
