IMO it drives the wrong wheels to have any interest in it.

I presume as the changes only look cosmetic it is just a mid-life makeover.

It look like the interior is missing a vital device. A magic tree air freshener holder.  ::)

The Insignia has always been just another modern car to me: lots of 'design' features that try to mask the immense size and horribly bloated proportions. Saab's rendition looked much better to my eye.

And how did metallic brown become a fashionable colour again? Do people order a new car thinking "A car needs to reflect my current status; early forties, married, two kids, middle management job, no imagination, and a complete lack of any excitement. It'll have to be a shit brown Insignia"

Sorry but to my old and weary eyes i'm struggling to see what's different from the current model?

I'm guessing just the usual extra bits of fake chrome superglued on and they probably changed the headlight shape and stuck some chavvy headunit and trim in the interior.

Maybe the problem is that the original car never inspired me to spend more the a millisecond looking at it as i'm not a sales rep or retired:-X

Which is exactly what everyone says/said about the Omega as well. Yet you own one I presume? You know that bland sales rep wagon Vauxhall made in the 90's.

Strange, as most Sales reps in the 90's drove a Cavalier 1.8LS or Mondeo 1.8LX....... or later on a Vectra 1.8LS etc

Can't deny that the Omega isn't bland but I do like the RWD chassis and to be fair, the facelift was a quite significant styling change whereas I really am struggling to see much difference in this 'facelifted' Insignia from it's earlier model.

still looks like a dog squatting and taking a turd

I cant see any change apart from that bit of chrome or what have you round the rear light cluster.

I love the astra though. that's gorgeous. and to be fair to vx their interiors are properly smart these days. imo of course  :y

Not a single piece of garnish on that that won't bolt straight onto a 2009 car...
