Hi guys,

As I posted a while back I was having a grinding from my brakes on the Ford Fusion but only on initial moving of the car (car in auto ''D'' creeping forward with brakes half on). Quiet during road use.

So today I whipped out the copper grease and cleaned the discs and pads and cailper bracket etc. still no improvement.

HOWEVER discs I noticed are particularly rusty. very strange as we use the car every day. anyway a quick looksy in the back of the Haynes and it says if you have a grinding noise (I do) it could be excessive corrosion of the discs.

you reckon this is the problem???

cheers guys

It will be noisy if the discs are rusty. Nothing to unusual there. Mine does it on first application at the top of the road after a lay up. Worse in winter obviously.  :y
