bleeding clutch hydraulics

Y188NFA 2.2 manual
On this car it is difficult to engage a gear when the stationary. I suspect clutch needs bleeding. What is the best way to do it? Does using Eezibleed kit work on a clutch?

Quite right. I have found my funnel and long plastic hose kit to back bleed clutches. Hose on nipple, hose full of brake fluid, open nipple, hang funnel in roof of garage, and brake master cylinder fills to overflowing. Bit messy, but always works.

I noticed the clutch fluid pipe is near the top of the reservoir. Why is it not at the bottom?

So that the clutch fails first if the level drops :y

Nothing worse than driving off and nothing happening when you get to the end of the road ::)
