Thanks to everyone who wished me well for today, but unfortunately when I arrived at the hospital it was to find that the procedure has been put on hold pending further investigation of my right hip joint and lower lumbar vertebrae as there were some contra-indications and practically no reflexes from my leg  :-\
I was pulled about a fair bit (more than I was expecting) and i'm embarrased to say I cried with the pain (I know, I need to man up & get a grip ;D)
Anyway, the upshot is, I need another MRI scan & it will be around 6 weeks before they try again.
The main thing i'm worried about is swmbo has already heavily hinted that physio in the form of washing up & vacuuming is back on the cards   ::)
In the great scheme of things, i've bugger all to drip about when you remember that there are others fighting far greater personal battles with their health :-[
You're a drain on resources lad, man up and get back to work. :P

Sara's trigger point injections do help but there are times when they only move her pain level from excruciating to agonising :(

Todays consultant said he probably can't achieve any more so hoping that next months facet joint specialist can find a "magic button" to switch the pain off :-\

Will report back when she has had the procedure :y

I quite agree with her, tell her I will pop in for a cup of tea, and a natter, while you clean the house; she might speak to me now I am not driving a Mig..... :D :D :y
